  Hello, it's been a few really busy days, so I need to catch up.  Here are five things about csquared (Carlos)  And a little randomness of some images that I love.

Polar bear and the new "Leaf"

  I came across this behind the scenes video of the making of the new Nissan Leaf electric vehicle and thought I'd share it.  The message is clear that as Global warming is REAL, that we as the people that occupy this planet need to to take actions to help preserve all of its wonder.  This is too nice not to share.

  Sometimes I just ponder on things which are quite obvious yet lost in this busy world, like today, today is my cousin Nichole's birthday, today is my sister Cindy's foot surgery, today is Thursday, today is my daughters first volleyball game of the season, today someone will hit their very first home run, today someone will lose their job, today someone will fall in love, for whatever today is to you, remember above all, that today a gift. 

So now here's another five things about C Squared.

  Hello, I recently had the privilege of shooting with Leianna Kai, she is a singer as well as a beautiful model from Los Angeles.  Standing at 5'3", she has an exotic mix of ethnicity with include Hawaiian, Portuguese, Italian and Irish.  Lei is so talented and professional that she made my job so easy...enjoy.

Christie & Davey Tie the Knot

  So last month I had the pleasure of shooting Christie and Davey's big day, they are such a great couple with a lot of fire and love, I wish them nothing but the best as they build their new life together.  Here is a peek into the wedding day.

  Well, I just wanted to take a moment and reflect on one of my favorite people that I've met recently, I had been photographing models to both improve my skills and to provide images for their modeling portfolios, this year I met Lisa, she is the quintessential California girl.  Her presence in front of the camera is evident the moment I begin shooting, but its her laugh and genuine sweet demeanour that make her a great person.  Here is some of the work we've done from sweet to sexy.

   Good morning, that was the shortest long weekend ever....had projects and photo shoots, whew!  So I'm going to take a day to get ready for what looks like another busy week ahead.  Here's another five things about Carlos of C Squared Imagery.

I am loyal

My daughter thinks I'm a great artist

I drink coffee for the taste not the buzz

I once solved the Rubiks Cube in under 3 minutes ( Yes I am from the 80's )

Project weekend

   These long weekends are so great for relaxing or catching up with friends or getting projects done.  My family took on the challenge to transform my daughters room, taking the carpet up to expose the wood floors, painting a two tone paint scheme and of course rearranging just about everything else in the room.    As I stared at the "Pooh Bear" yellow colored walls for a moment while getting ready to paint, I reflected on how fast time flies.  We did this project as a family and with every bit of appreciation of our accomplishment as we looked around the newly styled room, I have an even deeper feeling of accomplishment as a look at how my daughter has grown up, this is what I call a "turning the page" day.

  Happy Labor Day weekend, as I get ready to jump into my busy weekend, here are five more things you may or may not know about me.

   Finally Friday....sigh, seems our lives get so busy with work, school and chores that we almost forget how to unwind and enjoy the weekend and this being a long weekend is extra sweet, so my advice to you is to take a deep breath and take in life, be thankful and recount the blessings around you. 

E Session with Christie & Davey

I had the pleasure recently to shoot an engagement session as well as just finished shooting the wedding of Christie and Davey Hylland.  We had a fabulous day in July at Crystal cove beach where they played and I captured.  I will be sharing some of the wedding pictures in the next few days.  A special thanks and shout out to my cousin Nichole for making it all come together.
